BASEBALL STUFF IN THE TRUNK
In this section you'll find various odds and ends baseball related - mostly oversized cards, a few figures I have, just basically stuff I can store away here.
Consider it a yard sale...and you know what they say about those: One man's junk is another man's treasure.
In most cases, there will be a listing (In the trunk) on my pages, but not always.
PLEASE let me know you found these items on this page so I can dig 'em out of the trunk & remove from my site...

TOPPS HEADS UP!
Though this collectible item made a limited appearance in 1989, the 1990 Topps set features 24 different Heads-Up pin-ups.
Each item is a die-cut pin-up of a baseball star printed on thick white board, with a suction cup attached to the back. The die-cuts follow the contours of the player's hat and head, and they can be attached to any flat surface. The player's name and number appear on the back. The pin-ups are listed below according to the checklist printed on the back of each wrapper.

TOPPS BASEBALL COINS:
Ok - they should NOT have been called "coins", because they're actually more like metal milk bottle caps. But still, these are pretty cool - Came across 'em one day while at a flea market in Florida in the early 90's, and wish they'd had more than the one pack.
# 4 - Kirby Puckett - Twins
# 15 - Tom Gordon - Royals
# 34 - Mark Davis - Padres

TOPPS ACTION FLATS:
1999 Topps Action Flats were a series of 12 boxed "statues" issued by Topps to compete with Hasbro's Starting Lineups (SLU). The design of the card is identical to that of the '99 Topps base set, but with a foil-stamped "Action Flats" logo on the front.
The packaging mentions that this was "1999 Series 1." However, a second series was never issued.

FLEER AUTHORITY:
2001 Fleer Authority is a 150-card set released in December 2001. The product is known for being one of the first (along with 2001 Topps Authority) to include pre-graded rookie cards - The last 50-cards in the base set consist of a Prospects subset with each Prospect serial-numbered to 2001 copies. Approximately 80% of the production run of each Prospects card were NOT inserted into packs. Instead, they were submitted by Fleer to Beckett Grading Services (BGS). Each 20-pack Hobby box contained two individually wrapped pre-graded Prospects cards, each graded no lower than "BGS 8" (NM-MT).

CLOVERDALE MEATS - MARINERS GRILL SET:
This unique barbecue grill set was handed out to fans during a Father's Day promotion on June 25th, 2004 as the Padres visited the Mariners - it features wooden-handled metal tongs, a wooden-handled metal spatula, and a wooden-handled grill brush, with the Mariners name on each - My oldest trading buddy, Charlie Gale, sent this along to me...after he'd received several sets from a friend in Seattle who worked at the park. It's really a cool novelty item!

Each month in 2006, Upper Deck and Tuff Stuff Magazine teamed up to put a "player pages" in the monthly Tuff Stuff Sports magazine. Each page had 4 player cards - 48 total in the set - evenly divided between baseball and football stars of the day.
The set is similar to the Sports Illustrated for Kids cards from the era. As these cards were perforated, edges are not perfectly straight - That being said, some of these sheets are UNCUT...some have been separated by me for player collectors (no damage to the others on the pages) - Here are the baseball pages I have - football are available on that site.
